If you are interested in joining the garden, please call (336) 873-9300 and leave your name and number.

Our Mission.....

In faithful partnership with God and one another, the Seagrove Community Garden is an agent of Christian hospitality and sharing.
The garden community will:
*Enrich the soil and preserve the land through hands-on gardening practices.
*Produce fresh, high quality vegetables and fruits.
*Teach each other sustainable gardening techniques, healthy ways of meal planning, cooking and preserving whole foods.
*Encourage the building of cooperation and friendship among members and guests.

Our vision.....

We believe that access to delicious, healthy, affordable, high-quality food should be the right of all humanity. Armed with the knowledge that meeting this need is best accomplished on the local level, we extend an invitation to all people groups in our vicinity to join us in this endeavor, and that we learn from each other - tolerance, compassion, respect, honor, cooperation, hospitality, and patience. Our hope and prayer is that Seagrove Community Garden becomes healing ground, a sacred space, a place where all are welcomed and encouraged, a place where people are fed and where love abounds - for the land, the garden’s bounty, and for each other. With enough love, small things grow into big things. This is our vision. No matter how much time, money and space we devote to this garden, our objective remains the same - to feed the people in front of us, our neighbors, our community. As the need grows, the garden will grow along with it.
